Karl Einolf was named president of the Indiana Institute of Technology. Mr. Einolf, who is dean of the Richard J. Bolte Sr. School of Business at Mount St. Mary’s University, in Maryland, will start on July 1.
Marsha Kelliher will become president of Walsh College, in Michigan, in April. Ms. Kelliher is now dean of the Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University.
W. Joseph King was named president of Lyon College. He will start on July 1. Mr. King is senior adviser to the president at Emory & Henry College and interim executive director of the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education.
Pareena Lawrence, provost at Augustana College, in Illinois, was appointed president of Hollins University. She will succeed Nancy Oliver Gray, who will retire in June after leading Hollins for 12 years.
Juan Sanchez Munoz was selected as the next president of the University of Houston-Downtown. He is currently vice provost for undergraduate education and student affairs at Texas Tech University.
Mark Nook, chancellor of Montana State University at Billings, was named president of the University of Northern Iowa.
Vincent Price, provost at the University of Pennsylvania, has been named president of Duke University. Mr. Price, who will start on July 1, will succeed Richard H. Brodhead, who has led the university since 2004.
Alan Price, associate director of management for the Peace Corps and acting chief of staff at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, was appointed president of Earlham College.
Royce Engstrom, president of the University of Montana at Missoula since 2010, will step down on December 31. Sheila Stearns, a former state commissioner of higher education, will become interim president.
Karen Lawrence plans to step down as president of Sarah Lawrence College next summer, after a decade in office.
Nancy Oliver Gray, president of Hollins University, effective in June.
