While it’s true, as Jason recently reminded us, that “they can’t eat you,” this is still a pretty stressful time of the semester. There are assignments to be graded, committee reports to be written, articles to be finished, students who need advising… In short, it can feel like there are more things to get done than any one human could possibly accomplish.
So what do you do to handle the resulting stress? My strategies always include getting enough sleep, taking it easy on the caffeine, and trying to fit some exercise into my schedule.
