Zotero 5.0 Now Available

I’m sort of surprised no one here at ProfHacker has yet written about the launch of Zotero 5.0, seeing as how it’s a favorite automated citation/bibliography/collection organizer platform of the group.

So I will.

I think it’s still worth writing about, even though it launched more than ten years ago by the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media because when I talk about it, people still haven’t heard of it and what it can do for you research and workflow. I’m pretty guilty myself of forgetting that I had it installed on my browser [opens window with 50 tabs open containing articles related to my recent research project].

A full list of new and/or improved features can be found here. One of the biggest changes is to the Firefox plugin since Mozilla is changing how they are doing plugins.

What system do you use to manage your research and citations?
