Papers Consider Changes in Higher-Ed Business Model and Faculty Roles

Two new white papers from the American Council on Education explore challenges to the traditional higher-education business model and what it might mean to reshape the roles of faculty members. The papers stem from discussions that took place last year when 14 college presidents participated in the council’s Presidential Innovation Lab, an effort designed to allow the leaders to examine how new technologies and learning methods could help increase the number of Americans who earn college degrees.
