Real-Estate Mogul to Give $200-Million to U. of Michigan at Ann Arbor

Stephen M. Ross, a prominent real-estate developer and owner of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, will give the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor $200-million to support its business school and athletics programs, the university announced on Wednesday.

The university said Mr. Ross’s pledge was the largest single donation in its history, increasing his total giving to his alma mater to $313-million. The university said the $200-million would be split between the university’s business school and its athletic campus, which will be named in Mr. Ross’s honor.
