Student Faces Felony Charge After Classroom Quip About Shooting Romney

Shaquille Brown, a student at Lorain County Community College, in Ohio, was arrested and charged with inducing panic, a low-level felony, after an instructor heard him say in class, “Can we leave, because Romney is in town and I want to go shoot him,” the Associated Press reported. The instructor told Mr. Brown she had to report him and then called campus security, a police report about the incident said. Mr. Brown, who was taken to a local jail after being interviewed by the Secret Service, later told a reporter that he was just making a joke and had never said anything about shooting.
