U. of Texas at El Paso Boasts a Fiber First
The University of Texas at El Paso has unveiled a new fiber-optic link that connects it to Internet2’s high-speed research network and Mexico’s Internet2 equivalent. It’s the first link between American and Mexican computers owned by a university, according to campus officials.
