St. George’s University is a dynamic center of higher education with a global network of academic, medical, and scientific collaborators in education, medicine, research, and science. Over 6,000 students from over 140 countries attend SGU and are taught by over 2,300 faculty members recruited from across the world. Over 13,000 graduates of the University enjoy successful careers in medicine, veterinary medicine, public health, science, and business worldwide. Its international and multidisciplinary approach shape its One Health, One Medicine mission and the University programs are accredited and approved by many governing authorities. . It is one of two private medical schools in the Caribbean to be accredited by CAAM-HP, the regional accreditation authority. The School of Veterinary Medicine is fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Council on Education. St. George’s Public Health program is accredited by the US Council on Education for Public Health —one of only a few non-US institutions to receive this coveted approval.
