The Penryn Campus was founded in 2004, and is unique in the country for its joint use of space with the highly respected Falmouth University. It combines Russell Group prestige and quality with small-campus intimacy, in an environment unrivalled in the UK.

The Test Mine

The University’s Camborne School of Mines manages a test mine near the Penryn Campus. Students learn how to drill, charge and fire explosive rounds as well as survey the mine using both traditional and cutting-edge methods, such as 3D laser scanning equipment.

Streatham Campus

Of our four campuses Streatham is the largest, and consists of hundreds of acres of parkland adjacent to the city centre of Exeter. The campus is registered botanical garden.

St. Luke’s Campus

Across the city is the St. Luke’s Campus, a historic home for teacher training for more than 150 years, now housing our Graduate School of Education, Medical School, and Sport and Health Science department.

The award acknowledges Exeter as the best in the country in academia and athletic achievement across a wide range of sports. It takes into account the University’s outstanding support for athletes, very high student satisfaction in sport-related programmes and world-leading research which enhances athletic performance at all levels.

The Structures Lab

The Structures Lab is just one of our cutting-edge science and engineering facilities. Students are able to mix and test concrete and test other full-size structural elements such as new types of drainage materials for use underneath car parks. The equipment is fully computerised.

The Forum
