Even though, over all, students’ payments for tuition and fees made up only about 15 percent of the revenue of two-year public colleges in 2014-15, seven such colleges relied on tuition for half or more of their revenue. They include Quincy College, a municipally affiliated institution with two campuses on the South Shore of Massachusetts, and Arapahoe Community College, which has three campuses near Denver.
