American Indian students and those of two or more races who enrolled at private nonprofit colleges were a third more likely to graduate within six years than those who enrolled at public colleges. Other groups also had greater completion rates at private nonprofit institutions, though not with such wide margins. All groups had the lowest graduation rates at for-profit colleges.
