Full professors got the lowest percentage raises in all sectors in 2020-21, with those at religiously affiliated colleges faring the worst, with pay raises of -0.1 percent. For the first time since the Great Recession, the pay increase for all full-time faculty members combined didn’t outpace the rate of inflation, which was 1.4 percent for 2020.
