Greg Postel, interim executive vice president for health affairs at the University of Louisville, will lead the institution as its interim president. Mr. Postel will take over from Neville Pinto, who has left to lead the University of Cincinnati.
Rahmat Shoureshi, provost and vice president for academic affairs at the New York Institute of Technology, will serve as its interim president. He takes over from Edward Guiliano, who has resigned after leading the institute for 17 years.
Resignations
Teresa Sullivan, president of the University of Virginia, plans to step down when her contract ends in 2018. She will have led the university for eight years.
