Cuba, South Korea, and Puerto Rico had the highest rate of college enrollment, with the United States in fourth place. China and India both have a higher number of colleges students than does the United States. Countries with the lowest rate of enrollment include the African nations of Malawi, Niger, Tanzania, and Eritrea. Chad had the lowest share of women enrolled, 15 percent, while the Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda had the highest share of female enrollment, 74 percent. Click on dots to see detailed data.
