Of the 12 private nonprofit colleges that had graduation rates of 95 percent or above in 2018, seven were in the Ivy League. Over all, private nonprofit colleges graduated more than two-thirds of first-time, full-time students who started in 2012 within six years, while public colleges graduated over 60 percent. For-profit colleges lagged far behind, graduating 25 percent of their first-time, full-time students within six years.
