Colleges With the Highest Average Pay for Associate Professors, 2016-17

The 10 highest-paying public doctoral institutions, private nonprofit doctoral institutions, and private nonprofit baccalaureate institutions all paid full-time associate professors, on average, more than $100,000 a year. Eight master’s institutions and only one associate or baccalaureate/associate institution paid average salaries in the six figures.
