George Mason University students gathered on Tuesday for a rally condemning President Trump’s ban on travelers from seven predominately Muslim countries. Participants said that the executive orders and policies of the Trump administration were bringing many marginalized communities together, including Muslims, undocumented students, and supporters of the Black Lives Matter movement. The gathering attempted to teach students about the interwoven nature of social-justice issues and the actions that they can take beyond demonstrations.
