The Fulbright U.S. Scholar and Fulbright U.S. Student Programs are sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs to support academic exchanges between the United States and over 150 countries around the world. Almost 600 U.S. higher-education institutions actively participate in the Fulbright program. Top-producing institutions with the most Fulbright U.S. scholars in 2021-2022 are listed directly below, followed by a separate listing of institutions with the most Fulbright U.S. students. Two doctoral, one master’s, and two baccalaureate institutions, all highlighted with boldfaced text, were top producers of both U.S. scholars and U.S. students in 2021-2022.
