The Fulbright Program is the U.S. Department of State’s flagship international educational-exchange program. Since 1946, the Fulbright Program has provided over 400,000 students, scholars, artists, and professionals of all backgrounds and fields the opportunity to study, teach, conduct research, exchange ideas, and contribute to finding solutions to complex global challenges. Fulbright U.S. Scholars are faculty, researchers, administrators, and established professionals who teach or conduct research in affiliation with institutes abroad. Fulbright U.S. Students are recent college graduates, graduate students, and early-career professionals who participate in study and research exchanges, or serve as English-teaching assistants in local schools abroad.
