Farouk Dey, vice provost for integrative learning and life design at the Johns Hopkins University, has been named president of Palo Alto University.

Charles Edmonds, executive vice president at Lycoming College, has been named president of the college.

Glenn Hegar, comptroller for the state of Texas, has been named sole finalist for chancellor of the Texas A&M University system.

Michael E. Hill, president of the Chautauqua Institution, in New York, has been named president of Randolph-Macon College, in Virginia.

Shane Hunt, dean of the College of Business, a professor of marketing, and vice provost for entrepreneurship and economic innovation at Idaho State University, has been named president of Cameron University, in Oklahoma.

J. Larry Jameson, interim president of the University of Pennsylvania, has been named to the post permanently.

Bradley J. Lingo, dean of the Regent University School of Law, has been named president of Grove City College.

Larry Miller, vice president for learning and work-force development at Greenville Technical College, has been named president.

Ron K. Patterson, president of Chadron State College, in Nebraska, has been named president of Murray State University, in Kentucky.

Dean Pribbenow, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty at Elmhurst University, has been named president of Millikin University.

David Reingold, senior vice president for policy planning and dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Purdue University at West Lafayette, has been named executive vice president and chancellor of Indiana University at Bloomington.

Debbie Ricker, interim president of Hood College, since July 2024, has been named to the post permanently.

Sean J. Ryan, senior vice president for administration, strategic initiatives, and trustee affairs at Bellarmine University, in Kentucky, has been named president of Anna Maria College, in Massachusetts.

Robert Scott, president of research and development at the Kraft Heinz Company, has been named sole finalist for president of Albany State University, in Georgia.

James E. Shadid, a United States district judge for the Central District of Illinois, has been named president of Bradley University.

Marlene Tromp, president of Boise State University, has been named president of the University of Vermont.

Tim Westbrook, former director of the Bible Online Program at Harding University, has been named president of Troy University.

Resignations
Ken Gormley, president of Duquesne University, plans to step down next year. He will remain at the university as chancellor.

Keith Whitfield, president of the University of Nevada at Las Vegas since 2020, stepped down.

Retirements
Brian King, chancellor of the Los Rios Community College District, will retire at the end of the 2025-26 academic year.
