DEATHS Lee Eliot Berk, Berklee College of Music’s second president and its namesake, died on October 21. He was 81.
Robert Brustein, founder of Yale University’s Repertory Theater and former dean of the drama school, died on October 29. He was 96.
Tasha Butts, head coach of women’s basketball at Georgetown University, died of breast cancer on October 23. She was 41.
Roland Griffiths, a professor of behavioral science and psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, died on October 16. He was 77.
William P. Sexton, a former vice president for university relations and a professor emeritus of management at the University of Notre Dame, died on October 17. He was 85.
David Shaffer, former head of the child psychiatry program at Columbia University, died on October 15. He was 87.
Anita A. Summers, an economist at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, died on October 22. She was 98.
Anthony Vidler, former dean of the architecture schools at Cornell University and Cooper Union, died on October 19. He was 82. Vidler also taught at Brown, Princeton, and Yale Universities.
