Abbi Ross was a reporting intern for The Chronicle with a passion for covering social-justice issues on campus and an interest in first-generation students, as one herself. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she studied news and editorial journalism. (Woo Pig!)
Ross previously worked at the Southwest Times Record, in Fort Smith, Ark., where she covered the city and business beats. She previously interned with The Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and served as editor in chief of The Arkansas Traveler, the university’s student newspaper.
