Calli McMurray is a reporting intern at The Chronicle, covering medical schools, academic misconduct, and research issues.
McMurray previously interned at Spectrum, an autism-news outlet. She’s also pursuing an M.A. in science, health, and environmental reporting at New York University, where she’s the editor in chief of the student publication Scienceline. Her work has appeared in STAT, The Texas Observer, KFF Health News, Smithsonian Magazine, and elsewhere. She has a B.S. in neuroscience from the University of Texas at Austin.
