I commission and edit essays and articles on academic politics and culture for The Chronicle’s ideas and opinion section, The Review.

My Background

I joined The Chronicle in 2023. Before that, I was a visiting assistant professor at Pomona College. I earned my bachelor’s degree in English from Vassar College in 2001 and my Ph.D. in English from Princeton University in 2012.
