What I Do

I commission and edit essays and articles on academic politics and culture for The Chronicle’s ideas and opinion section, The Review. I also write The Review‘s weekly newsletter.

My Background

I joined The Chronicle in 2018. Before that, I was a postdoc in the Harvard Society of Fellows. I earned my bachelor’s degree in languages and literature from Bard College in 2007 and my Ph.D. in English from Yale University in 2014.
