Maddie graduated from Emerson College, where she was an assistant news editor at The Berkeley Beacon, the campus newspaper. She completed a co-op at The Boston Globe, where she helped lead the newspaper’s coverage of Gaza encampments across Boston-area colleges. She also freelanced for Prism, a nonprofit newsroom.
