At least four Syrian university students were killed in a raid by security forces at the Univeristy of Aleppo on Thursday, reports the Associated Press. About 1,500 students had reportedly been protesting in the student-residences area when they were attacked, first by armed pro-regime students and then by security forces and gunmen who fired tear gas and live ammunition into the dormitories. A student activist told the Associated Press that dozens more students were wounded and about 50 were arrested.
