Regular readers will remember that back in September of 2013 we announced the first Accessible Future workshop, which took place at Northeastern University in Boston. Applications are now being accepted for the fourth and final workshop, which will be held on April 10–11, 2015 in Atlanta, Georgia. If you are interested in digital environments and accessibility, please apply.
This NEH-funded 2-day workshop workshop is intended for humanists, librarians, information scientists, and cultural heritage professionals who wish to learn about technologies, design standards, and accessibility issues associated with the use of digital technologies. Instructors include (in alphabetical order) Jeremy Boggs, Cory Bohon, Dan Brown, Jen Guiliano, Tina Herzberg, James Smith and George H. Williams.
If you’d like to stay up-to-date on the project, you can follow the Accessible Future on Facebook or Twitter
