Today, after a fourteen-month hiatus, the comedy podcast You Look Nice Today: A Journal of Emotional Hygiene released a new episode . . . which reminds me that we haven’t had an Open Thread Wednesday post about favorite podcasts for an even longer stretch. That post generated a ton of excellent suggestions--many of which still exist--but there are new podcasts starting up all the time.

My own favorite new--where new means “launched since October 2010"--are all from Dan Benjamin’s 5by5 studio: Hypercritical, with Benjamin and John Siracusa, Build and Analyze, with Benjamin and Marco Arment, and the (retired, but still awesome) Let’s Make Mistakes with Katie Gillum and Mike Monteiro.

What about you? What new-ish (or just new to you) podcasts have caught your ear over the past few months?
