Semester Lessons Learned? Looking Ahead

Previously, I’ve suggested that you conduct mid-semester course evaluations and a mid-semester self evaluation. Well, now would be a good time to take what you’ve learned this semester and apply it to your plans for next semester.

This week’s open thread invites you to share your tips for planning your next semester. Will you be careful about not overreacting to any road bumps you might have encountered during this semester? Are you thinking about developing a new electronic communication policy? What will be your policy for late assignments? How about your technology policy? Absence policy? Your semester won’t be limited to teaching responsibilities, of course. Will you commit to a system for getting things done? How about your plans for producing more writing?
