When Gov. Rick Scott of Florida singled out anthropology degrees as job-market losers in comments to a newspaper this week, he may have been speaking with inside knowledge, the Associated Press suggests. It turns out his daughter, Jordan Kandah, has a degree in anthropology from the College of William and Mary. Ms. Kandah did not go to work in that field, however, and is now pursuing an M.B.A., according to the AP.
