Dickinson College’s president, Nancy A. Roseman, will step down after three years leading the liberal-arts institution in Carlisle, Pa., The Sentinel reported on Monday.
Ms. Roseman will leave office on June 30, and Neil B. Weissman, Dickinson’s provost and dean, will serve as interim president starting July 1.
A former Williams College dean, Ms. Roseman was Dickinson’s first female president when she was appointed, in 2013.
“I am deeply proud of what we have accomplished,” Ms. Roseman said in a statement to The Sentinel. “As we develop our next strategic plan, which will help inform our upcoming fund-raising campaign, I realize that this time provides a natural moment of transition. It is an ideal time for the college to bring in a new president to lead these pivotal projects.”
