Emory University’s provost will be its next president, the Board of Trustees announced on Friday.
Claire E. Sterk, who is also executive vice president for academic affairs, will be the Georgia university’s 20th president. Ms. Sterk started at Emory in 1995 as a faculty member in the Rollins School of Public Health.
