Ms. Kipnis, a professor in the department of radio, television, and film at Northwestern University, has no shortage of opinions on the issues of gender hierarchy and sexual dynamics at colleges. So provocative was her first essay, “Sexual Paranoia Strikes Academe,” that it prompted two Title IX complaints against her (the subject of the second essay, if you haven’t been following along). She was eventually exonerated last month.
