Peter Ludlow, the philosophy professor at Northwestern University who has been accused of sexually harassing two students there, has resigned, according to a statement by the university.
Alan K. Cubbage, Northwestern’s vice president for university relations, said in the statement that Mr. Ludlow resigned on Monday, after the university started a process to fire him and while a faculty committee’s hearing in his case was still going on.
