An adjunct sociology professor at three New Jersey colleges has apologized for sharing racially insensitive jokes on her Facebook page, the South Jersey Times reports.
After an anonymous former student sent reporters printouts of jokes Nancy Reeves had shared about Mexican-American accents, Ms. Reeves said she was “blindsided,” adding that she had shared the jokes because of the wordplay, not the racial jabs. “I don’t consider myself a racist,” she said.
