The University of Mexico at Gallup is in a hairy situation after spending more than $7,000 on a Bigfoot conference this year, according to KRQE, a television station in Albuquerque.
The conference, “Bigfoot in New Mexico: Evidence, Ecology, and Behavior,” was paid for with university funds. After the conference the university also funded a Bigfoot expedition to search for the hypothetical giant hominid, but no students or faculty members attended.
