Creating Effective, Equitable Assessments for Online Courses

Online education poses unique challenges for assessment. Traditional methods, like testing, are not always reliable, while differing access to technology at home raises concerns about equity.

How can professors ensure that their students are not only learning effectively at home, but that their coursework is fair for all students? To find out, The Chronicle has gathered a panel of experts for a discussion with teaching and learning reporter, Beckie Supiano, that will explore:
