Designing STEM Courses for Today's Students

How can colleges and universities match the increasing demand for workers in STEM? When it comes to academic offerings, student success involves not only course material but also how programs provide opportunities for students and how colleges make up for setbacks such as the interruptions in students’ education due to the pandemic.

In a coming virtual forum, a panel of experts will discuss how STEM classes need to be designed with more than just the subject matter in mind. The panel will discuss how best to support students, including how to give those from underrepresented groups the same chances as others and how to help students whose math and science education was affected by the pandemic.

Join “Designing STEM Courses for Today’s Students” on February 22 at 2 p.m. ET.

Host: Alex Kafka, senior editor, The Chronicle of Higher Education

With Support From Cambridge.
