The Rise of the CISO in Higher Ed

Higher-education institutions are increasingly borrowing practices from business and government by hiring chief information-security officers. The role, known as CISO, has become more common in the last few years because of concern over the vulnerabilities exposed by the open exchange of ideas and research.

In “The Rise of the CISO in Higher Ed,” experts discussed how the CISO role is changing and how smaller institutions are managing the need with a smaller budget. Watch the on demand recording to hear what they had to say.
