Others turned their chairs or lower their heads when Biden spoke. Read our Alecia Taylor’s story on HBCU activism here.
  • How diverse are student populations on campuses in the U.S.? Search for the race, ethnicity, and gender of students at your institution in our interactive database. We’ve updated it with statistics from the U.S. Department of Education for fall 2022, the latest available data.
  • Texas university leaders assure state lawmakers they are obeying DEI bans. The hearing comes after reports of varied compliance with the law. Our Alecia Taylor reports.
