Trump’s second term is fast approaching. Are colleges ready? The re-election of Donald J. Trump was a watershed event for the U.S. and the world. What do scholars expect from the incoming administration at a time when campuses are increasingly polarized? Here’s what eight thinkers wrote about the second age of Trump.

A former World Wrestling Entertainment magnate is Trump’s pick for education secretary. Linda McMahon, co-chair of Trump’s transition team and leader of the Small Business Administration during his first term, is nominated to lead the U.S. Department of Education.
