A Chronicle Watch Party: ‘The Chair’

Higher ed is streaming on the small screen. The Netflix series The Chair follows Professor Ji-Yoon Kim, played by the actress Sandra Oh, as she navigates her new role as chair of the English department at the fictional Pembroke University. She’s the first woman to lead the department and one of the few faculty members of color on campus. Collected here is The Chronicle’s coverage of The Chair.
