Peggy Lewis, executive dean of the School of Professional Studies in the School of Business and Graduate Studies at Trinity Washington University, believes that “everyone wants to be heard.” As a longtime reporter and broadcaster, she developed a keen awareness that in order to be a sucessful dean, the ability to listen is crucial.
She also believes in being kind to the person sitting next to you because “one day you might hire them — or they might hire you.”
