The Big Universities Students Need Now

Large research universities must figure out how to move forward in a time of upheaval. As they weigh how to promote equity and inclusion, define “hybrid,” and protect public health, many are facing labor shortages, faculty and staff burnout, and — especially on public campuses — political pressure on multiple fronts. What can and should the student experience look like now?

In the final session of our four-part series “Going Forward: The Higher Ed We Need Now,” we will examine how universities committed to equity can best serve all students.
