Trust & Value in Higher Ed: an International Comparison

The global pandemic has eroded trust in higher education. Students are worried about the decisions administrators are making that impact the safety of campuses. And families faced with paying regular tuition for “Zoom U” are grappling with whether or not the cost of college is worth the benefit.

In a Virtual Forum moderated by Karin Fischer, a contributor to The Chronicle, a panel of global experts will examine the impact of Covid and its financial fallout on trust and value in higher ed.

  • What can colleges do to increase trust in spite of mounting obstacles?
  • How are other countries like Australia, Britain, and Spain dealing with this issue?
  • What can campus leaders learn from the international discussion about trust and value in higher ed?

The discussion will include information from a recent international survey of college staff members and students conducted by Ipsos and commissioned by Salesforce.org, the event’s underwriter.
